URGENT DERM SERVICES
Sendas offers dermatological care on a walk-in basis, by appointment, and via TeleMED. Many of our patients have used our Urgent Care service for their various skin conditions, such as a suspicious skin lesion, uncontrolled acne, or a rash that doesn’t seem to go away. We dedicated a separate portion of our facility for this service. Thus Urgent Derm was formed.
Our providers evaluate and treat various dermatological conditions. We utilize state of the art technologies, including laser treatments. We work closely with other specialists to help diagnose and treat your skin condition.
Sendas Urgent Derm is managed by Dr. Linh K. Ngo, M.D. and Jennifer Tougas-Genova, FNP-C.
Jennifer is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She brings 11 years of experience as a licensed medical professional.
She is originally from Chicopee, MA and was recruited to Bakersfield, CA eight years ago as a travel critical care Registered Nurse. She obtained her graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Pasadena, CA.
She is specialized in cosmetic and medical dermatology. She has excelled in both; however, cosmetics is her passion. She provides a wide array of non-surgical augmentation; non-surgical rhinoplasty, dark circle removal (tear trough), non-surgical face lift and contouring, submental fullness (double chin) removal, expert techniques with Botox injecting, removal of unwanted skin growths including vascular lesions, benign lesions of the face including sun spot removal, and laser hair removal for all skin types.
